Always in motion
but never moving
Hiding from the sun
that threatens rain
Every ripple a rupee
but no land belongs to you
Always in motion
but never moving
The Azan calls out
to the mortals below
An ice-cream melted, a mango iced
Always in motion
but never moving
Deeper than the oar
that dips and rises
silver trees and golden bridges
empires scattered amongst lotuses
Always in motion
but never moving
The lake reminding
that floods come and go
futures wash away
the hands never show
