I had a moment tonight. I was sitting in a pub in London surrounded by people I never knew a month ago. I'm sitting there, laughing, conversing, building bridges and forming friendships. I then got on a bus and walked back to the house I now call home and spoke to some more people who are slowly becoming friends, people I only met two weeks ago. I am having moments of... 'I now live in London' and 'I am surrounded by others who live in London...' Somehow I am putting down unwanted roots in a place that is not of my own choosing.
My life. Always so full of change... of different people, places, routines, jobs... I'm always adapting to someone or something... Always learning about something new.
And yet he isn't here. Not anymore. And he will never know.
